Earlier this year, Planet Smoothie celebrated National Smoothie Day on June 21 by partnering with Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, one of the leading funders of pediatric cancer research in the U.S. and Canada. Customers who purchased any smoothie 20 oz. or larger from a participating Planet Smoothie or online that day could receive a 20 oz. Lunar Lemonade for a $1 donation to the charity.

Inspired by the foundation’s mission, Planet Smoothie was eager to ally with Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation and join the fight against pediatric cancer by bringing quality smoothies to their customers. Planet Smoothie again teamed up with Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation for the month of September to raise funds for National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. It was a win-win for Planet Smoothie customers and for the foundation, with proceeds from the partnership going to pediatric cancer research, awareness and support for families with children with cancer.
